PTU Precious Tag Tut

This tutorial is my own creation and any resemblance to others is purely coincidental.  This tutorial was written for those with a working knowledge of PSP.  Please do not copy or claim as your own.  Anything you produce from this tutorial is yours to do what you wish for personal use only.  No profit is to be made from your results.  
 
Materials Needed:
PSP X or any version should work 
Eye Candy 5 Impact - Gradient Glow and Glass
  A tube of your choice.  I used the amazing artwork of Gaetano Di Falco which you can purchase at Creative Design Outlet. You must have a license to use this art. 
Scrap Kit - ScrapRD_IB-GaetanoDiFalco-83 by Rebel Dezigns can be purchased at Creative Design Outlet.


Let's Begin!
Open tube - duplicate - close original - set aside.
Open a new transparent image 700 x 700 - flood fill with white so we can see better.
Add a new raster layer - select all.
Open Paper 5 - copy & paste into selection.
Select None.

Make sure your ruler is visible. Using the Selections Tool set on Hexagon, Feather 30, Anti-Alias checked, start at 1 both top and left on the rule - hold down the shift key and drag right and down to 9 on the ruler.  You should have something similar to this:


Selections - Invert
Hit delete key once.
Selections - Invert agaiin
Copy/Paste tube into selection.
Selection - Invert
Hit delete key 3 times.
Selections - None
Set Blend Mode to Screen and lower opacity to 80.
Merge down - tube with paper.
Open Element  9 - copy/paste as new layer
Image - Free Rotate - Left 15 - Position upper left corner.
Duplicate - Image - Mirror - Merge down 
Duplicate - Image - Flip - Merge down
 Move doily below the Hexagon layer. 
Add drop shadow V/H 4, Opacity 30, Blur 5, black
You may need to resize the Hexagon layer a bit so it does not extend beyond the doily depending on how big you made your Hexagon.

Open Frame 2 - resize 70% - copy/paste as new layer.
With the magic wand click inside the frame - Selections - Modify - Expand by 2.
Resize tube by 65% - copy/paste as new layer.
Image - Mirror
Move tube below the frame layer.
Position tube how you like within the frame.
Open Paper 4- copy/paste as new layer and move below tube layer.
Merge down - tube with paper 4.
Selections - Invert.
Hit delete key once.
Selections - Invert
With merged tube layer active - Apply Eye Candy 5 Impact - Glass - from settings list choose Clear.
Selections - None
Add drop shadow to the frame V/H 1, Opacity 50, Blur 2, black.
Merge down  - frame with tube.
Image - Free Rotate - Left 5 - rotate single layer checked.
Position on the left lower side of the Hexagon we made earlier.
Open Element 1 - resize 65% - copy/paste as new layer to the top of the palette.
Position center bottom of Hexagon.
Add drop shadow - V/H 4, Opacity 30, Blur 5, black
Open any other elements you would like to design with, resize as needed and add drop shadows to each. 
Delete the white layer.
Merge all layers visible.

Open Wordart - resize 80% - copy/paste as new layer. Position bottom right or wherever you like it.
Selections - Select All - Modify - Expand by 2
Add a new raster layer and move below wordart layer.
Flood fill new layer with a gold gradient - angle 45 - repeat 2.
Select None.
Add drop shadow to the gradient layer - V/H 4, Opacity 70, Blur 5, black.
Merge Visible.
Resize your tag to desired size - I resized mine 80%.
Sharpen

Add © copyright information, license number and any text or name you want. Save as transparent png.
