This tutorial is my own creation and any resemblance to others is purely coincidental. This tutorial was written for those with a working knowledge of PSP. Please do not copy or claim as your own. Anything you produce from this tutorial is yours to do what you wish for personal use only. No profit is to be made from your results.
Materials Needed:
PSP X6 or any version should work.
A tube of your choice. I used the stunning artwork of Jennifer Janesko which you can purchase at Creative Design Outlet. You must have a license to use this art.
Scrap Kit - ScrapCD_IB-JenniferJaneskoJuly2012-bt can be purchased at Creative Design Outlet.
Let's Begin!
A note: all elements that are resized are also sharpened and drop shadows added to each - color of shadows #8c0950.
Open tube - duplicate and close original.
Open Paper2, Frame2 & Frame3 - duplicate each and close originals.
With Frame2 active - Rotate 90 degrees right - Increase canvas size to 850x750 to give room to work.
Copy Paper2 & paste as new layer and move to the bottom.
With Magic Wand click inside the frame - selections - modify - expand by 2 - selections - invert. With Paper2 layer active hit the delete key once - deselect.
Copy & paste Frame3 as a new layer - resize to fit inside Frame2 in the center.
Copy & paste tube layer 2 as new layer - move below Frame3 - position her how you like inside the heart frame. Magic wand - click inside heart frame - selections - modify - expand by 2 - selections - invert. With tube layer active hit delete key once - deselect. Add drop shadow to tube of your liking (I used 4,4,20,20).
Open Lace Hearts - resize 60% - copy & paste as new layer - move below heart frame - position left side of heart frame - duplicate - flip horizontal the copy and move it to the right side of the heart frame. With Magic Wand click inside Heart frame - selections - modify - expand by 2. Activate lace hearts on left and hit delete key once, repeat for lace hearts on the right. Change blend mode to Hard Light on each lace hearts element.
Open Glitters - resize 80% - copy & paste as new layer - position upper right corner of rectangle frame - move to the bottom layer. Duplicate - Flip Vertical - move to right bottom corner of rectangle frame.
Open Leaves - copy & paste as new layer - move it to top layer - position center top of rectangle frame.
Open HeartShatter - copy & paste as new layer - position bottom right.
Open DiamondRain - copy & paste as new layer - position center of rectangle frame - move below Leaves layer.
Open Vine - copy & paste as new layer above the DiamondRain in center - Erase away the leaves that are over her face.
Open Bow - resize 80% - copy & paste as new layer - move to top - position upper right corner of rectangle frame.
Open Keychain - copy & paste as new layer below Bow - position upper right corner of rectangle frame.
Open Doodle2 - copy & paste as new layer - move to below Paper layer - position upper left corner.
Effect - Edge Effect - Enhance.
Open FlowerTrail - copy & paste as new layer - flip horizontal - position bottom right corner.
Open Glows - copy & paste as new layer - move down above paper layer - position center.
Open Flowers - copy & paste as new layer below Vine layer - position bottom center of rectangle frame.
Open Sparkles - copy & paste as new layer - move to top layer - center. Erase away any sparkles near her eyes and nose.
Open Wordart shadowed - copy & paste as new layer - move to top layer - position bottom center.
Merge layers visible. Crop - Merge Opague.
Resize to you liking - sharpen.
Add copyright info and license number and any text or name you want.
